EVALUATION STRATEGY

Estate Master Society:
A Strategy Grounded in Measurable Impact

At the Estate Master Society, our strategy is simple: we measure what matters. While numbers are important, we believe effective management also includes real-world experience, community feedback, and the flexibility to make smart decisions — even when complete data isn’t available.

Why Our Research Stands Out

We’re developing a unique tool: the RDP Financial Confidence Index (RDP FCI). This index collects real, on-the-ground insights from RDP Homeowners across every suburb in South Africa, especially those trained through our EMSA programs. These insights go beyond surface-level stats — they give us a deeper understanding of financial wellbeing in these communities.

A Balanced Approach to Performance

We combine qualitative insights (the human stories and lessons) with quantitative data (the hard numbers). Our goal isn’t just to track progress — it’s to understand the true impact of financial confidence programs on people’s lives.

Backed by a Proven Model

Until we secure dedicated funding for the RDP FCI, we align our evaluation with the well-established Sanlam Financial Confidence Index — a respected benchmark in South Africa’s financial sector.

By building on this trusted foundation

We ensure that the RDP FCI is developed with credibility and impact in mind — ready to serve as a powerful tool for social change.
